^ that is what people do when they're looking at it - taking it all in. Once they get behind the wheel and realize its not a rough track car they go:

A MP90 mounted to the top would be legit. I was wondering if it would be easier to mount a centrifugal supercharger in the spot where the factory A/C compressor or power steering would typically mount...

There is someone who makes these...

Or centrifugal like the tC's...

Centri blower, all the drag with some of the boost. Roots, boost all the time. You can get static boost out of a centri but you need a recirc bov and a blower which will reach the needed cfm at a lower rpm like a V5.

you can put a mag clutch on a roots and map it to only come on above X throttle percent like OEM's do for Mercedes and what not. Like blower off below 20% throttle to preserve cruising MPG.

My concern is with the space. I don't know if it would fit in the engine bay. There is only like 3" between the intake manifold and the rear firewall.

But hell - I already have the standalone EMS - All I need is a supra fuel pump, supra injectors, and the supercharger+belt routing plate.

It's illegal to drive without a hood... But my hood is securely in place on the front of my car. Engine lid on the other hand... Well the law doesn't say you can't drive without an engine lid!

Illegal to drive without a hood... Don't tell that to the rat rods. Those 20's and 30's cars are grandfathered in on so much, guess the law doesn't even bother.

Exactly, or get another one and cut out a hole of the super charger and put a scoop over it or a bubble or a box or whatever. BECAUSE RACECAR!

Thats because a hood on a unibody car is intergal to the structure in case of an accident, where a rat rod is a ladder frame so its body isnt. You would know this if you actually took the time to read the law

I knew that. Also in Alabama it is legal to drive without a hood, regardless of the car's body construction.
