did some interior work, but the most important was, installing an amplifiers, splitted, one for left and one for right side of front speakers, with seperated exits for tweeters and woofers, sizes about 20x10x5 centimeters each. The difference in sound on aftermarket 16' speakers is amazing!

modified my seat brackets to lower my driver seat by two inches.. I fit in my car now! Nice work. Today I picked up my block and pistons from the machine shop. Had them hot tank the block and hone the cylinders. They also checked the pistons for me to ensure everything was within oem tolerances. INSTALLATION IS THE OPPOSITE OF REMOVAL. -------------------- |

Changed my oil and found the source of my oil leak:
The bolt will not tighten, so I either have a messed up bolt, too short of a bolt there... or it's stripped out. Anyone know how I can get myself an extra inch or 2 of clearance past that beam so that I can figure out what I'm working with? -Nate This post has been edited by Arsaces: May 21, 2012 - 9:54 PM |

How's the sound Art ? I'm really happy with this setup so far. The Infinities added a lot more clarity and presence in the mids and highs without being too bright or harsh. I wouldn't say they are the greatest speakers I have ever heard, but they are probably one of the best in their price point. The tweeters probably made the biggest difference from stock as I finally realized how much of the highs I was missing with the stock tweeters. The 8in sub is a perfect compliment to the system. It gives pretty accurate bass reproduction (at least for a product made by Dual) and just enough low end without being over powering. It produces really tight, punchy bass due to the bandpass box and that was one of the biggest reasons (besides size) that made me choose it (along with the positive reviews on Amazon). Great for cranking up dub step! And after a bit of EQing, I was really surprised at how well rounded everything sounds. Its not just all bass shaking the car.
