I found one on St. Louis Craigslist earlier, if it fits. I don't think it does but you never know.

^ TWM short shifter is $214...nope. But something like this would work in a sixth gen shifter housing?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-HEAVY-STEEL-00...2b9&vxp=mtr

I've heard of this being notchy, but roughness is acceptable in light of increase in shifting sensation, if that makes sense.

any 7th gen celica short shifter stick with the spacers will work. its notchy yes but its not something that would drive you nuts, its the common sound you hear in movies when they shift gears. some people think its nice cus the shifting sound is very distinct and noticeable, but some people like the quiet smoothness. TWMs are good but pricey for something thats not a whole assembly.

Fair enough, thank you. As far as I know, they're the cheapest around, which is why I'm interested...I really don't want to pay the price of the TWM unit, much less the TRD unit.

i was in the notion that although the TRD shifter is smoother, it is a bit taller.

go ahead!!!!!

Like I said, really cool, but just too much for a singular mod, when I can get something 75% as good for only 24% of the price. I usually dislike math, but the numbers don't lie there...

I got something like that for mine and it was by far the best mod that I had done. Well worth the price.

After looking at that link again, it is just the knob, so price was irrelevant in that case...
