True true, so will you still be able to use the original alignment setup on the stock housing once your done?? Yes. One other thing is that the peons can adjust horizontally as well as vertically meaning it's easy to direct and age the lamps after fitting. I'm not sure if that can be done with the 500 lol sweet how much longer till we get to see the finished product Mann?? Not till a while Today I had a bit of time and replicated the other side and bolted it together. The next stage is the messy and long part. Sanding the hybrid housing down and bonding it together. Then spraying and neatening up the chrome inserts and the housing so it's presentable. This post has been edited by yellowchinaman: Aug 14, 2012 - 2:44 PM |

Dang. This is getting REALLY REALLY interesting now. Read the first page and was like wtf was this guy thinking. Doing all that body work. Skipped to the last page(hoping to see the finished product), found out you were going to hybrid the two light housing instead. That made me REALLY interested in this. Lol. Now I'm thinking This guy is a ****ing genius! Can't wait to see the outcome!

I'm glad that you do and your work shows for we 6gc owners are limited to performance parts since no one really knows about the history of the 6g CELICA(s) in the market. i can answer your question. You don't have time to do it for yourself because it is SILLY giving yourself a bill to paid for the work done. This post has been edited by chacha: Sep 4, 2012 - 11:47 PM |

So what are you doing with that gap where the blinker was suppose to be?

So what are you doing with that gap where the blinker was suppose to be? I changed my mind about that. Keeping it and bought my self some crystal lenses. Where the indicator should be at the top of theNeon cluster is, I'm putting 3 501 bulbs in to work in conjunction with the halo's as park lights. |

Had a bit of time today to do a bit more.
First using thin masking tape, bridge the gaps. Reason why I'm using thin tape is because it's absorbent to resin and this is a great way to cheat. Then trim off all the excess and using small pieces of fibreglass, start apply by brushing on the resin to the lamps, then on the fibreglass shess and then dab them in place. So these are left on the drying rack and next time I'll just sand them down and dismantle it before spraying the housing black. |

Thanks bud. So when would you like for me to do yours then?
Anyway regarding my head light, I never got round to posting pictures. So here it is: This is all the pieces which forms the lamp layed out. Here are the bulbs fixed in which retains the full adjusting rods meaning I can angle them when on the car Access to bulbs and wires are easy Halo's with the reflective backing Halo wires are sealed using these bungs making it water tight I heated the old glue and taped the clear covers in till it set. Then for extra insulation I used PU glue all the way round making it air tight The same glue was also used around the lense cover so I can glue the rubbers on Tape and set in place Finished Now I just need to get hold of the wiring looms for the 4 lamps and wire in the plugs to this |
