Looking to upgrade, not buy the same thing I have again.
I have a megasquirt controlling my engine, not the stock ECU. So anything that is cable throttle can be in my engine bay, but I want to keep the simplicity of the 5S with some upgrades here and there. -------------------- 1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold

Ahh ok. Could look into V6 swapping. Eh, I suppose $850 imported isn't bad for a newer 5S. I'd have to look around the web to gather what they've been going for.

Newer 5S blocks are perfect for making a 5SGTE hybrid.

Buying a wrecked donor for a couple hundred $ and then selling off a few pieces could bring the cost to zero

Newer 5S blocks are perfect for making a 5SGTE hybrid. Yes. The only non performance part of the 5S is the head and that is arguable It's one of the reasons I want a 98+ Buying a wrecked donor for a couple hundred $ and then selling off a few pieces could bring the cost to zero Nobody sells them around like in the US. 98+ are pretty rare as is. hey man, if you're looking to find a 5sfe, i'll sell you my gt with the 5sfe for dirt cheap, im moving to bayamon and cant do much with it. tell me what you think. My wife is from Puerto Rico, and they drive all the same cars we drive in the states. In fact, they have all the same everything we have in the States, except we don't have excellent beaches.

1mzfe off a lexus es300 and i can get the whole car for under $500. It should be under $400 if they want more it better be a 3sgte. 1mz costs over 1000. 3sgte costs over 2200. Engines have to be shipped overseas plus they have to make something out of it. It also is a 2000 engine, not 1994. -------------------- 1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold
