ive got a huge oil leak on my gen 6 butim not sure what the part is lol it looks like a oil filter near the drivers front wheel at a angle n its leakin from there please help guys thanx matt

There is a doughnut shaped oil cooler between the oil-filter and the engine block. My USDM 5sfe develoled a leak here and I had to replace the gasket. It cost <$10 for the gaskets, though I think I had to get them from Toyota. The oil could also be leaking from the seal on the oil filter itself, or from the valve cover gasket(oil has a way of sneaky-like dribbling down and appearing to come from somewhere else.

I think once the oil filter is removed the is a 10mm bolt near the top of the cooler on the exterior holding it on, and I believe the threaded center(the part the filter screws onto) somehow attached the entire assembly to the block.

its next to the oil pan i think it just looks like a normal oil filter sat at a angle its leaking from there
