Well I'm getting bored of my car. I want to to be faster, and just more fun and rewarding to drive. I want to know if there's anything I can do to improve it to keep my interest in the car.

No there is nothing you can do to make it faster or more fun. There is nothing you can do to improve it or keep your interest in the car.
How about checking out the "My Projects" section of the forums, it'd be the best place to start |

was thinking the same thing or get a supra! I wanted a supra until one day when i was driving i saw this really nice one coming the other way ( nice clean bodykit+ good exhaust tone ) and then it drove past and a fat middle aged women was behind the wheel. Just can't bring myself to driving one now... -------------------- Listen, Like and Share my bands page on facebook !!!

I lost interest in mine once too. My solution: I drove something else for a while. Trust me, you'll REALLY want your aging, slow, oversteering, but cherished Celica back. As strange as it sounds, the 6th gen Celica just has a certain "feel" that other cars just can't match. Of course, boosting and swapping are great options to give the car the power you want. However, both cost a lot of money and if we all had that much money, odds are we wouldn't be tinkering around with Celicas. My advice: Freshen the car up. New struts, ball joints, tie rod ends, polyurethane bushings, sway bar end links, take the seats out and steam clean everything, etc. You get the idea. It'll still cost a good bit of money, but it can be done one day at a time. Even if your car still feels good, there's room for improvement by replacing aging parts. Plus it's a great feeling to replace parts yourself then take the car for a drive and be able to feel the results. It's also cheaper than car payments. When you are finished fixing everything up and you still aren't interested in the car, all of the new parts are an excellent selling point.

You can always start doing body work. I personally started cleaning my engine bay and thinking about colors to paint it when I got bored. It's inexpensive and keeps you personalizing it. Hell even if I'm cleaning my car or changing brakes, I just like workin on it (to an extent)

I like richee's idea.
To add on. If your thinking of buying a mk3 or older supra, then I'm sure you will be running into more problem's than you bargain for. The celica offers many bang for your buck options compared to others. Because its an older car, there will always be room to restore old parts. Fresh Aftermarket or oem parts will make your car that much better nd more appreciated. Its rare to see a clean celica on the streets ,that's why I recently purchased one. That and it strikes me as baby supra lol I'm actually excited to get my celica project started lol This post has been edited by C-Lara: Jan 17, 2013 - 9:46 AM -------------------- 09 scion xd - 5spd- bbs- coilovers- exhaust- intake

Strap a couple of jet engines or a flux capacitor on it and call it a day.
If you do install the flux capacitor, the rocket engines or a 3sgte are a necessity to reach 92 mph. The 7a and 5s are too weak to generate the required 1.21 gigawatts |

They're not that bad. I've gotten mine up to somewhere above 80 when I shouldn't have.
