Hello just curious alot of people say to run front mount intercooler for the swap do to better cooling and more breather room just curious I have a vis racing carbon fiber hood with vents for my 97 Celica and I'm talking about a 4th gen but could I run that and maybe hood risers I'm not trying to be cheap I simply like the intercooler being on top ? Any advice

You can’t run the A2A TMIC without a hood scoop. You’ll have to have cold air blowing over the intercooler, which means you’ll have to add one to your hood, get a different hood with a hood scoop already in it. That’s the reasoning for going FMIC with a 4th gen.

I like my A2W intercooler it works great! I tried 2 different A2A FMIC and it was heat soaking my radiator when I would run the AC.
Here is are pictures of my A2A intercoolers I tried out and was not happy with.    Here is are pictures of my current W2A setup.   I like the W2A because it is easier to route the piping in the engine bay so less chances of boost leaks. Also, it does not heat soak my radiator. The downside is that the water to air system tends to heat soak thus giving me higher intake temperatures if I sit at idle for too long. |

That hood will pull hot air out, not blow cool air in.

Hello guys, as Tmiller and I am a fun of the TMIC for my 3rd gen. My car is currently built with FMIC but I m considering to purchase an TMIC A2W and I was wondering how much power is capable to produce with it.
