Following in the steps of everyone with their TMIC, I'm planning to lag my cooler and plan to use gold foiled tape.
http://designengineering.com/reflect-a-gol...flective-sheet/ My main concern is if the adhesive will stay although the sheet is rated for continuous temps of 850F (454C). The adhesive is protected by a liner safe up until 325F (162C). Does anyone have experience with this type of tape and know how much I would need to effectively cover the cooler? I was also considering the aluminium heat blanket as well but seems like the gold tape will function just as well (at least according to the specs on the manufacturers website) at a cheaper price. --------------------  96 GT-Four instagram: kttranz |
