well i was in baltimore this weekend to assist rob in his swap since a guy screwed him over big time we spent like 4.5 hours working on a lot of stuff.

we began with trying to find bolts, mounts, cables, and sensors from a pile of stuff and a sideways clip.

then we pushed the car over to a lift and started to work on big pieces...
bolts where the wrong sizes in the wrong places and some things were not even hooked up. so we attempted to reattach the steering, under body chassis brace, cross member, and numerous other pieces...

here are a few sneak peaks i got with my fone

Looks like fun, The steering rack connects differently on the ST than a GT.
Its connected to the crossmember. I agree they shouldnt have touched it.

good luck fellas

Yea U don't know why the did that, you can drop the subframe without touching the steering.

As long as I can get an ECU, I should be ok. I have peoples numbers like DG and you Jeff, if I run into any trouble.

We re-attached the steering twice cus we forgot to center the wheel lol. Thanks for the help player.

I'm using the E153 tranny not the the s54.

Someone told me I would need the hubs off the st185. Will the 185 axles fit in the ST hubs?

The knuckles from my 185 very similar to my ST's.

You should try to bolt up the 185 axle to your ST knuckle see if it fits.
I'm not 100% on the E153 info. but its a good idea to check.
