I have for sale a turbocharger which was removed from a mint condition running 1988 Toyota Supra. It was removed for a larger single upgrade.

Toyota CT-26 Turbocharger 49,000 original miles. There is little to no shaft play, and spins freely with no noise. The turbo is internally wastegated with the gate actuator still attached. Oil fed, and water cooled. All passageways are free and clear, I have not cleaned the turbocharger after it's removal to show its excellent condition, and to avoid contamination.

Price: $70.00 picked up in Laredo, TX or $95.00 shipped anywhere in the USA except for Alaska, and Hawaii - I don't even know why those are US states.

I accept cashiers checks, or money orders by mail, or cash in person only. I do not deal with paypal, or ebay at all their service rates keep going up and sellers end up losing money that way, sorry they got too greedy.

Or reply here and I will check back as soon as possible.

Thanks for looking!

Correct wink.gif, therefore it does not fit a 6gc and it against the 6gc Buying/Selling forum rule #3.

A member of this forum named Edgar (used to own a black GT-2 and sold it to another member here who somehow blew the motor) was the one who advised me that celica owners could use this turbocharger. Yes it's the single entry turbo from a Supra, I wasn't aware that it doesn't fit the Celica. I own a 97 Supra so I have no use for it, and the price is good because he also told me it was worth "$90.00 max."

I guess he lied to me but thats besides the point, anyway sorry if this won't work for your cars I really didn't know that. I thought the only difference was the single or twin entry design.

If you can use it, it's still for sale. Sorry for any issues with this turbo's fitment guys.

- Brett

It's all stock, 97 limited anniversary edition N/A targa auto. I bought it to save as a collectors car so the N/A part didn't matter but I ended up liking the car so much even as non turbo that I drive it anyway. This is the car that Edgar called "annoyingly slow" while bashing all his friends cars in another thread of his. He is lucky I even let him drive it.

Just wondering why anyone would post stuff for sale thats too good to be true? I am a person who likes cars just like the rest of you.

www.myspace.com/youknowmyurl thats me, if that help you feel better about spending $95.00 on a turbo.

that's just wrong rolleyes.gif a supra guy post up on the board and you guys rip him ? not good...

Beautiful car, great limited color, if I had the chance to get that car I'd do it in a heartbeat, no jive. That thing is worth more than both of my cars combined.

Good luck on the turbo sale, but maybe on ebay you could get better response or price than on here.

97Supra, try supraforums, or ebay.
Our 3sgtes also use the ct26, but ours is twin entry and the bolt patterns are different.

Welcome to the site and Nice Car!

Single entry or twin entry. It doesn't matter. Its still a turbo. It can be used with any car.

Automatic or not. Nonturbo or turbo. I'd still choose an MK4 Supra over a plain 6th gen Celica.

Yeah, that is not nice. I have driven an N/A Auto Supra like this before, and trust me, just to be seen and drive in such sweet ride is enough in itself. It still trumps driving a Celica and can be upgraded!

Thanks guys, and I'm sorry the Turbo won't fit the Celica, I was misinformed I apologize. I guess I will try ebay or craigslist or something like that.

About the Supra - i get a lot of guff for it being auto n/a but I waited 13 years to buy a supra. This vehicle was as close to showroom / mint quality as I had ever seen any used car be in. 1 owner cars are very hard to find, especially cars that are only 1 of 55 (this one.) I just couldn't pass it up.

Well guy; I dont know about the turbo, Wont fit ours, & none of us want it. (Good luck selling it though! smile.gif ) But that car is Mighty Fine wink.gif . I'd take it in a heartbeat!!

Yeah sure, It sucks to have an automatic... But i'm stuck with one too frown.gif But for a deal like that; F- the transmision, you can always swap it later biggrin.gif

It may be a good idea to check that turbo's specs, and find out what car it'll fit easily, Then find that community and you'll probably be able to sell it for more; If the demand is high enough. Then take that money, Mod that supra out a bit, Jump Back on this fourm, And show us all!! biggrin.gif

I'd personaly be quite happy to see it!! biggrin.gif

Good luck; and we'll be anticipating some Enhanced pics!!

Go to alltrac.net. You'll have much better luck there. The late 80's alltrac came with a single entry turbo. Many of those alltrac owners switch to a Supra ct26 because theirs are usually used up and not worth rebuilding.
