A couple years ago I got a 97 celica got. It was good had small issues but ran good for a few thousand miles. Then I couldn’t keep it running. I never had time/money to invest in it but I couldn’t let it go. I finally sourced my problems during my furlough and after a full tune up, fuel filter and pump, new relays, and some cleaning in the engine bay, I found my pcm was destroyed. I got some bonus at work and used it to get a remanufactured pcm and got it installed. It fired like nothing was ever wrong. It was such a huge relief to get it going. Changed the brake pads. Now I am going toput the interior back together, and do some upgrades I’ve had planned but didn’t get to because it wasn’t running. I just wanted to share my story. I’ll post some pics when I get a chance and tell a little more about it. My favorite yet completely unneeded upgrade is going to be an emblem. Well two actually. The front Toyota emblem will be a red dragon emblem I bought on eBay from Russia. And on the rear I’m removing the third brake light from the hatch, and changing the Toyota emblem to a light up emblem that will be my third brake light. I need to repair a tab on the drivers side headlamp also, the top one is no longer connected. I have a touch screen stereo coming in the mail for it. And I plan on refurbishing the stock wheels because why fix it if isn’t broken. That’s all I have for now, I know this forum is not what it used to be but I still come here often when I need an encouraging story and to seek creative ideas.

I actually found a light up toyota emblem and i think its for the prius or rav but i was thinking about putting it on my 99 gt and cutting a small hole in the hatch and running a power wire from the running lights into it. My celica will be a silver and blue theme and the light lights up blue so that will be super sweet for it. Keep updating! Wanna see how yours ends up

Well got the rear speakers in. Waiting on my new bracket adapters to do the doors. But the two sounds good for 26 bucks. Also got the rear emblem changed to the Toyota emblem led for a third light. Little big but it looks good.

My photobucket won’t let me host images without paying so check the link. I also put a couple pics on my profile. Finally updated it’s been a while

So I made an executive decision and bought myself some jdm tails. I have always loved them and I had a little extra funds from my last bonus at work. So they should be here by Xmas. I cannot wait to get them.

It’s the led badge, didn’t realize it was gonna be that big but really dont mind it. I may get a smaller on in the future but for now it’s what it is
