I would say that you need the fenders, hood, lights, and bumper. You can for sure get them from a dealer, maybe Jarco might be able to get it for you.
The curren is basicly a celica coupe with a different front. Everything else is the same. Oh, and engine is different, but which it has, i have no idea. someone else can answere that. This post has been edited by sphinx: Aug 11, 2004 - 1:41 AM |

there are 3 different models for the curren, the ZS, XS & TS:
The ZS has a 2.0 3S-GE 180 BHP The XS has a 2.0 3S-FE 140 BHP The TS has a 1.8 4S-FE 125 BHP If you are really interested about getting the conversion youre looking into buying the fenders, hood, lights, and bumper (very similar to the integra --/> jdm type r conversion) the curren is from japan but seems to be very popular in new zealand as well. i was quoted for the trd version of the front bumper and it was almost $1,000. Yeah i noticed it looked like the type r conversions for the integras. I think this look is very nice.
But being a poor college student i think ill hold off on it lol as i i can only imagine how much all of the parts will cost me. Plus part of the 6gc style is the way it looks. Thanks for all of the info, from the type of engine to where i might be able to pick up parts. Im one very well informed nu b today |

Hey i just noticed all the pix of the Currens are 6gc coupes. Did n e come in hatch/lift back or were they only coupes. Or did i miss a pic of a curren hatch. If by some chance i win the lotto and decide to get a curren front end set up, will it go on to a hatch back? My guess is yes rite? i duno lol
thanks again This post has been edited by urbandork: Aug 11, 2004 - 11:25 AM |

That's the best Curren I've ever seen. Yes, Currens are basically 6GC Coupes. There were no liftback versions. Yes you can do a Curren front end conversion on a hatch. We had a pic of one someplace. This post has been edited by Akimbo: Aug 11, 2004 - 11:59 AM -------------------- |
