things needed: electric sander,1can of brake cleaner, 2 cans of black spray paint(gloss),1 can of clear coat (gloss)
1) took off hubcaps and wheels off the car. 2) cleaned wheel with soap and water than dryed completely 3) sanded all rust and exisiting paint off of the steelie as much as i could 4) used brake cleaner to get the rest of the dirt off the wheel! 5) layed a table cloth over wheel outlined the outer part of the wheel with sharpie, cut a hole with scissors (so no paint will get on the tire itself) 6) began painting(let dry for 20 mins than do one more coat of paint) 7) waited atleast 20 mins before clear coating the wheel 8) repeat process for each wheeel * just a fun little project, that IMO came out very good HERE ARE THE RESULTS |

^ Which won't happen. A spacer large enough to look "perfect," which I'm guessing means close to flush, would be absolutely probably not too healthy of a size to run. I'm guessing increased wear on bearings, not to mention the studwork...I'm speaking 30MM+. Not a good idea, in other words. The setup of that wheel is just not optimal for stancing...
As for the springs vs. coilovers, the following thread answers fairly well. http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=80990 This post has been edited by SwissFerdi: Nov 4, 2011 - 8:19 PM -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]

I normally use the the cheap aluminum/silver spray paint
yea its normally easier to mask of tire paint silver then mask off silver with painters tape the paint black or maybe charcoal gray looks good to autozone sells a really nice rim paint that comes in silver an charcoal grey cost alil more but gives a great finish when I did my old rims with it my friends thought I had ny rims pouter coated -------------------- 95 gt coupe, v6 swap weekend toy
