A cap that's flat and is knobbed like a water spicket would work, I think that's how the one on the 7A was. Perhaps it or another like it would have the right threading.

Could try one off a 5s as well. It's not nearly as tall as that.

Worst case scenario, get some hood spacers where the hood bolts to the hinges and bump that b!tch up hahaha

i would require 1 inch spacers, which would make the hood sit so high, its ridiculous.....

extensive welding required, and modification, the angle of the seat cushion is not right.

Talk about tight clearances. Probably the best thing to do then would be to take some firm enough rubber that's oil resistant etc and make a plug/stopper.

I think hood spacers look retarded. And thse are only 3/4 inch and expensive at local harware store. Black chrome.

And the end look i dont like

FD1E97F3

BCEA1530

Happen to just find them at ace harware.

Worst of all clearance.

Was only improved marginally

is it hitting the bracing of the hood or the top part of the hood?
I know it's not ideal, but would cutting into the bracing help?

Put up a pic of where it's hitting under the hood please sir.
and I know it's a tight fit but does the hood close with no cap ? or no close without damage ?

The picture posted on the red view is with the hood closed. It closes with no cap. I already cut the bracing on the hood for the cam sensor.

I have ordered a slim cap. When that gets here ill cut the space i need. I hate to cut the hood. The spacers are not growing on me...
I have tought about relocating the oil filler in the future. I hate tight clearances.....

I rather cut and retack bracing than have to deal with hood spacers, at least when it's all said and done it really won't be glaringly obvious the bracing was cut in a few small spots.
