I tried looking but didn't see what I was looking for. I have a 1995 Celica GT with a 3rd gen wrc 3sgte. Drives well and takes off on my BIL's Evo but theres just one issue: car stalls after boost if I dont hold it in gear. As soon as I see the speedometer fall I quickly put it in gear so engine won't stall.

Ive checked for boost leaks with soap and water and everything checked out. I feel like it's related to the fuel pressure but am not 100% certain. Mods I have are: aftermarket manifold, 3" down pipe, 3" exhaust system, BLITZ ecu, hks bov (non recirculating). Code 54 has been defeated and is throwing no codes. Nought some new spark plugs from PRIME. Drives and idles where it should be.

Anyone have this issue or know what it mat be? I think its fuel related, maybe the Blitz ecu? I really need help as this is annoying as hell. TIA

are you running the stock MAF? if so, recirculate the BOV.

Burn it to the ground and start all over again.

Has it always done this or was it recent?

Lol I want to. Drives well just cant figure out what's wrong. Check fuel pump and regulator and everything works as it should.

It's always done this since swap was done. It's annoying as hell but it's also fun as hell lol.

3rd gen runs on MAP only, there is no MAF. so open dump of BOF wont hurt anything.

put a fuel gauge on the rail to see if its a fuel issue.

i would also question the Blitz ECU, can you get ahold of a stock 3rd gen ECU? it might be flooding which is why it stalls. what injectors are you running.

Thanks for the response. Ive asked with no luck (FB) no stock ECU. I've tested the pretty much everything and cannot find what the issue is. Fuel, plugs, everything should be where they are with the exception of the extra plugs (FMIC) and misc plugs we don't need.

I am also thinking it's the Blitz ECU. I'll try and get a hold of one to test before winter hits. Thanks smile.gif
