Congrats on a job well done.
 With the idle, mine also idles at around 1100rpm when I first start it up. As the engine warms up, it drops back to around 800rpm. --------------------  1994 GT-S (BEAMS) swap complete |

thats just a cover over the valve cover right as it appears? Can that fit a 5s valve cover?

We just went with a K&N drop in filter which is just fine for us, for now. The other option is to get a CAI or short ram for a 01 v6 camry with the AFM adapter, but it's very important that the pipe diameter is the same as stock or the rich/lean issue comes up. We didn't want to go with Beams white face gauges so we are using a Dakota digital tach adapter and the tach works just fine. The valve cover is more like a 3SGTE valve cover, it has the inner gasket with the cams almost individually housed, like this...  The 5S valve cover doesn't have the holes that the valve cover cover screws into or the oil cap in the right location. There's probably a few other problems you'd run into but those are the most obvious without actually fitting it to a 5S. -------------------- |
