SO.... If I were wanting to improve my 3sgte by upgrading my intake manifold, where would I get a new one. OR if no one makes them, what would I be looking for in one. Because I could always have one custom made. WOuld it be worth the hassle of getting one. Oh btw I have a 2nd gen 3s.

Unless you are planning a large turbo upgrade there is no point in changing the stock manifold. If you are looking to burn some money, spend it elsewhere.

No need to upgrade the exhaust manifold either. You should definitely upgrade the down pipe. Pick up a Berk technology down pipe, the quality is amazing. Do not buy chep Ebay downpipes, they are junk.

Ok 2 things. Whats so bad about the ebay ones (not thinking about getting one) and whats so good about berk. I am not questioning your opinion I just dont know anything about them. My mechaninc doing the swap wants to make me a down pipe, but I will buy one if it will be tons better.

The material is too thin, the welds are terrible lets not forget weak, and it will not last very long. Buy the Berk, its been tested by many 3sgte owner's and is a beautiful piece in the engine bay.

Everything you say about the ebay one seems not to be an overstatement. When looking at the ebay one and the Berk side by side. You can see the Berk just seems so much nicer. Would you recommend upgrading the manifold while I am at it?

stay away from the ebay manifolds.
they are crap, much like the downpipes, but worse.
you can get the berk thru the GBs on mr2oc, or thru his website, www.berktechnology.com
