idler pulley maybe ? My AC compressor pulley was shot and made a whining before wife changed it. Idler pulley was my thought too. I wish I could catch it on tape, but there is no way you'd ever hear it. It's not constant, it's almost intermittent.... If the car is running, the "grinding" is like, cracra..cra......cra..cracracra....cra....cra..cracra ... It's weird -------------------- |

They were filmed in full HD, but who knows how they uploaded to photobucket.
Phone microphone doesn't do it much justice to the tone of the exhaust. I wanted to stay away from the higher pitches and obnoxious volume. Still needs some more quite, but I've got the tone when you hear it in real life that i want. This post has been edited by ricochet1490: Jun 6, 2013 - 9:04 PM -------------------- |

Test fitment of wheels. No lug nuts, but flushness is awesome and I really think when they get powder coated gunmetal gray...they'll be awesome. -------------------- |

Still looks exactly like this, but rims have rubber removed and are in my shed about to get straightened out because they were apparently a bit bent.
In other news, house over car so not much progress. anyone else got anything. -------------------- |

Long overdue update.
So I've been debating about how to finish the car with paint etc. Ended up figuring I'd at least ditch 1/2 of my JDM Fenders because the damage was too great on the one, and cut the hole in my USDM fender for the blinker light. Outside of this group, nobody would ever know the difference anyway. The driver side fender will likely stay JDM and get a vinyl wrap instead of paint. so we started out by measuring... and using AutoCad to make sure my measurements were on point. The Cut... The fit... The install.. Thought I had some motor mounts loose so i took out my air box to get a look at the transmission mount.... Squirrels find a place to put nuts everywhere.... Finally got the headlight tabs fixed and put her back together... Little exhaust 7500 rPM video http://vid1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff47...zpsyl5noakg.mp4 -------------------- |

bump. You weren't kidding when you said you were going to bump it. Got a quote for paint, $3000 to do the whole car. Too much stuff going on with the house to spring for that to be honest. Car starts up and runs and drives. I take it to work about once or twice a month. More in the summer than the winter. I need to get the front end inspected. A pinch squirrely in hard left handers. Could just be alignment, but if its a worn out part I'll be going "gt4 play the easy way" to get some new front end components. -------------------- |
