Is the stock engine waterproof? I mean would I harm anything if I put a gt4 hood scoop on?

there are part numbers for a water gaurd thing that installs in the hood, to prevent water from going all over the engine.

do a search for gt4 part numbers, you'll find what i am talking about

i have the same worry, but lots of people remove their weather guard on the MR2 turbo hood to attach SPAL fans in its place and they have no troubles... id just be worried b/c all the electrical stuff, incase something were to be exposed.
