That's a VERY VERY modified 7AFTE. Look at the redline....;] It's probably also running some fairly agressive cams because the powerband from typical 7AFE's has been shifted very high. The torque peak on normal 7AFE's and modestly boosted 7AFE's usually happens at around 2500-3000 rpms. This one has shifted the low-end to between 4-4.5k (more like the 5SFE... might be overbored and/or stroked). Anyways... pretty sweet.

It will take him a moment to realize that he's about to make a 180 degree turn at speed, but you will be ready for it. Brace for the g's, and fast heel-toe work.

BS

I bet you'd be suprised. I'd be willing to be that the block, the head, and most of the valvetrain are stock. Thats more than 50% of the engine by weight.

This is true. I've never said it would be cheap. But it is possible.

There was a guy a while back selling a 7afte race motor on corolla-racing, here's a link to it that has everything listed that he did to it:
http://www.corolla-racing.com/scripts/yabb...;num=1066344198

I'd say that was a pretty insane price if that motor was what he said it was.
