Ok i heard a couple things when it comes to racing in the quarter mile. The bigger the rims the harder it will be to get moving for your launch. I have 17's on now. So smalller is better. But how much smaller? 14? 15? 16? I'm guessing that the 16 is just as bad as 17's. 14's will make it spin TOO much so the 15's would be JUST RIGHT (yeah i know it sounds like i answered my own question). Well i want to know which is best? then what type of tire is best, other than slicks? I heard the falken's or bfgoodridges are good? Not sure though. I know you guys here know whats best.

Dude, I thought you already had launch problems, to much spin as it is. But probably the best would be 15's, and I have a set I could sell you
And has for tires I would probably say the Kumho's you have or some Toyo Proxes... |

Any drag radial would be better. I think BFG makes some as does mickey thompson. Its not so much the wheel size that matters, its the weight. Gearing does play a factor when changing the size a lot, but you're probably not going to be able to take advantage of this unless you don't mind your speedo being messed up. I would find out what tire you're going to use first, then find out what sizes it comes in, and THEN find the lightest wheel you can for the available sizes.

Ok well i have some 14's lying around that my friend was nice enough to give me. They are off a '92 alltrac. I have used BFG before, they are a good brand. I highly reccomend them, so that might be the brand i go with unless someone here says other wise.
