So put the key in, turn it, and then press a button? A buddy of mine had that before because his car was messed up, an old 86 Cavi, I doubt its expensive, but it does draw the question, WHATS THE POINT? If your car works fine then no its not worth it, if you have a hidden button for security reasons so only you and people close to you know how to turn on your car then thats cool, a celica I looked at had it so the signal lever had to be clicked to signal left before the car would start. But if you just want a fat red button that says start then well, I hope all the hunnies love it.

I add an automatic start button, I hardly use it but I was really sick of the cig lighter input, so I re-wired my radar detector and pushed my cig lighter adaptor behind the dash. The button has no purpos really but its a perfect fit and I get a lot of people asking me what it is for. It was simple to install and I got one off of eBay. However, the instructions that came with it were all in Japanese!! confused.gif So I had to play a game of guess and check! wink.gif I know that the Yellow wire comming out of the ingition is the ignition, the white is power and I think that the gray with a black strip is the ground. You can just give your local Toyota Parts dealer a call and they can tell you the specifics!!
