Urethane:
Flexible so won't crack if you hit something
NORMALLY cheaper
Easy to install
Unrepairable
WHEN THE WEATHER GETS HOT, URETHANE TENDS TO SAG.
urethane is harder to prep and paint

Fiberglass:
NOT flexible - will crack if you hit something
Since its not flexible, the kit must fit perfect since you can't really do much with it
Repairable
will not bend/warp during shipping
heavier than the urethane

I would perfer fiberglass over urethane because of its versatility where can it be modified in many ways. Its your choice on what type you want to go with but also remember, that you get what you pay for, quality cost more, but in the long run its well worth it.

some of your info isnt true at all, i donno if it was a typo or what but...

for 1 fiberglass is much cheaper.

urethane is about the same difficulty to install, the only problem is if urethane doesnt fit perfect, it will bow/bend and wont look right

fiberglass is much easier to fit if theres a problem because any decent bodyshop can cut and remold fiberglass whereas if urethane doesnt fit correct you are really screwed.

he was correct that urethane is flexable, the only thing is that your paint will crack when your fender bends, it spiderwebs pretty bad if you bend it, speaking from experience.

most stock bumpers are made of a urethane composite.
