Hey on veilside usa site theres an interesting rear lip for the Mazda RX-8 Ver.1 Model. Sure its not going to be a direct fit, but it looks workable. After looking at Neverstops custom front, this would be the perfect back without too much modifications. There is not a direct link, but click into this:
http://www.veilside.com/veilsideusa/frames.html

1. click into products
2.click into aero-fashion
3.click into mazda
4.click into ver.1 model

Tell me what you guys think. I might buy it next week.

I have to say it looks very good. I dont know whether its workable though. If you could work it out and maybe make i mold I would very interested in getting a fiberglass replica of it.

That's actually a real nice kit.
Love the lines and how everything is molded together to give a real smooth look.
Right up my street!
Also, being that it is a lip kit, the possibility of modifying it looks feasible with a bit of chopping, heating and bending.

hey madmods, i really hate right now. I bought rear splitters for my GT4 a couple of months ago but have not yet put them on. After seeing that kit and the possibility of something similar for the 6gc made me consider the splitters to be just plain ugly. I will sell them first chance i get and go with a similar rear lip. The GT4 has a larger tank and is positioned differently on the car and is quite visible from the rear. a similar underbody kit for the rear is really neaded as my GT4 is very high of the ground and needs something that makes a statement.

sorry, but what part of rear is unclear for you Andason?

Great pic though wink.gif

I really dont get why they prevent people from saving pics they post on their sites. Anybody has any (good) explanation?

The exhaust pipe looks cool on the rear. Your going to have to get a muffler shop to split your exhaust to run them out. I wonder if you can get a single exhaust and weld a splitter pipe.(just a thought)We got a little shop out here that doesn't get much business, so there perfect for these little mods. No people waiting in line, and these guys desperately needing your money, their willing to do anything.
