12 is FAST, does ne body realize that...

I don't think they do.

You better plan on pushing near 300whp to hit 12's. The numbers climb exponentially after the 13-14 second barrier.

more than 300 I would think. Fensport's AE102 is putting down 327 bhp and runs a 13.02 quarter mile.

300 whp should drop you in the low 13's high 12's assuming you can launch the sucker (FWD). Mind you... the more power you make... the more power you lose through the drivetrain. It's a % loss... and not really a set number... so fensport's 327 bhp car could only be laying down 260-270 some odd whp... ;] however... a lot of variables are at play... so who really knows...

20% drivetrain loss? That would mean my engine was doing 280 hp last time it was dyno'd (227 @ the wheels). Not sure about that. Last time I dyno'd it, it was stock boost with FMIC and standalone system. That doesn't add 50hp... at least, I don't think. haha smile.gif would be nice tho.

Isn't this guy trying to race Civics or something? And Civics with high school drivers at that.

You don't need 12 seconds man, if you are losing to these guys right now, you need a driving lesson.
