Listen all. I can't stand little high school kids that think they're tough in Hondas. I don't feel that it is right that Toyota goes mostly unrepresented in the street racing of my town. Sure there are Supras, but just supras. Which leads me to my question. How do i get my stock 97 GT celica under 12 seconds? New engine, sure, but where. New suspension and rims, how much? Listen i would love a 3s-GTE, but is it worth it if a all track conversion is not feasible? Peace all. I got to take out some youngens. ID

THE ONLY WAY to have the fastest GT would be to swap in a 3s-gte, the newer the better. The car could actually go faster because of the non AWD setup.
Or you could put ungodly amounts of money into a 5S-FE.... |

*Raise hand* or get a car that has a performance engine already in it.

You can turbo your 5sfe but thats not going to get you into the 12s. You would have to drop in the 3sgte and still upgrade that to get in the 12s. Or you could buy an SRT-4 like previously said.

I'd say about 15k in engine mods woudl get you 12's, but then you would need rims and tires that could handle it... and a beefed up tranny,,, and custom draveshafts... shall I continue?

Get nos and a shotgun. race them and when you are behind, shoot out their tires and then proceed to hitting your nos. Your engine may blow up but you still win

You know in Tennessee, they were cleaning out old laws last year and found one that declared "No woman shall drive a car alone, without her husband in the passenger seat with a shotgun." something to that effect...so you guys are just copy cats!
