Hello everybody, Im a new member here. I had a very wild z24 and sold it, and now I have a 97 celica convertible. i call myself madmods because I have done some wild bodywork in the past. I plan on modding the hell out of my celica. I just got it, so Im doing research into it. I got a ton of bodywork in my shop right now from different cars. I tried an aftermarket z24 side skirt, and with a little warping with a heat gun, it will fit. Im not going to use it because I love veilsides new tiburon sides. There 300 each, so there not cheap. I believe i can make them fit.
Right now Im still deciding on front and back. Im trying to get one of the fender companys to sell me some damaged SLR thpe fenders so I can cut the vents out and mold them in to a set of fiberglass fenders. Our taillight selection sucks, so I might use some ferrari f355 lights I have from a kit car.
I got a pair of decah civic lambo latches that were bought for my z24. I will put these on my 6th gen, snd probally film the procedure.
I like custom stuff, not cheesy stuff. The guy modding the supra sideskirts is right dow my line of work. I love that kind of stuff!

Your "how-to" articles, if you decide to write them up, would be a very valuable asset to this community.

EDIT: And welcome to the site

Welcome to the community.
There ain't a lot of aftermarket stuff for our cars so I'm sure we all would be very interested in the mods that you do. (How-To's and pics).

BTW: If you can come up with a relatively easy solution for lambo doors...

No his doors are totally sutom made. I had the idea of lambo doors a few weeks ago and i have contacted him. it seems the easiest solution would be to modify the civic latches from Decah.

Welcome to the site, and keeps us posted on your work.
