You know under completed swaps we should have replies in this order;
3sgte engine type (2nd gen, 3rd gen, etc) PICS Total Cost and of course PAIN IN THE ASS FACTOR (1 to 10) hehe |

I got an engine, not a clip. No I havnt worked out the bugs, I still get throttle cut pretty low in the RPM band. Mike (qatar) is sending me a connecter for the ignitor. I, how ever, dont think it is, and will be my only problem.
on the good side, mike worked his magic and the a/c still works. And even with it cutting pretty low, its still decently fast. |

how long untill you get a FMIC?
because with out a hood scoop, that stock top mount will heat soak really quickly. other than that, good job and have fun -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

I know about the heat soak, and no i dont have a scoop, maybe ill get one, maybe i wont. Might be awhile until I can get a FMIC, funds are a bit tapped out. And with a FMIC there is more turbo lag.

well I of course wouldnt have the air box cause I have the 185 engine, meaning the airbox dosnt quite fit. I had bought an Adapter for the AFM but it turns out it makes it a bit to long, so right now Im using a wire mesh over the AFM adapter.... I know this isnt a great idea, but its what I have until I can figure something out with the filter. |

Chrobis where in San Jose are you again? I need to race another swap celica to see how bad mine's really running, haha. I'm doing about 10.5-11:1 air fuel ratio right now under boost so it's running pretty $hitty.
