Anyone have their player in and it doesn't stick out far enough to put on the outer trim? It bolts right up on the side brackets. But now it looks like the player has a gap around what the trim would cover up.

I have like a 1/8" gap between my radio and my console all around... not too much of an eye sore, actually I hardly see it as an eyesore.

the proper fitting kit (side brackets)comes with a foam surround and cut metal shape to go around a double din unit..
I guess you could get some dense foam and cut a shape out to surround your h/u. |

I just want to put the outer trim on. I gues I'll try something to cover it up a bit. It is about 1/8" gap. Thanx for the info.

Yours looks ok. How come the storage is on top? Mines at the bottom of the player. |

You don't need that bezel. I've put in 2 stereos in my car, and trust me, you don't need it. If you're gonna put it in a GM car, or something like that, then keep it, because the mounting kit requires it.

most peoples storage is on the bottom of the player... you can switch it around... i have mine on the top, becuase my stereo folds down, and it hits the latch for the bezel, so it would just re-shut... so i just moved it up top... dont even use it, its always closed.... -------------------- |
