Someone should do a how to article on how to install a body kit. I've never done it before and I'm about to do one. Would be nice to have a how to article on it.

every kit is going to take different steps to insure a correct fitment.

i HIGHLY (stress highly) recommend taking it to a shop to have it done, all you will do is frustrate yourself.

if you want to get used to fiberglass and body filler work its better to practice on something small, try making a sub box or something like that for your first time.

Well its used, the bumper is already molded onto another bumper so that is gonna be easy. The front lip has been on a car before so it shouldn't be to difficult. Ive worked with bondo and stuff before so I know how to do it. The only think I am worrying about is the sides they are new.

I've installed a few. Yeah I do say taking it to a shop is easier, but they overcharge I think. Either do it yourself or find someone that you know that will do it for cheaper.

After you get it installed, get it molded to your body. That makes your car look 10x's better. Taking it to the shop, is easy and you dont have to worry about installing it wrong. You do have to worry about forking out a few hundred bucks though, lol. I suggest find a friend or look up directions on your kit, to install it

I bought this tape years ago from ztherapy(guy who specializes in z28s). He installs and molds a full body kit on his vehicle. Its hands down the best video I ever bought and taught me alot. I also bought a cd on ebay on molding in wide body flares, and that was a great cd. I actually want to make a copy of videos. One on body kits and one on universal lambo door install. The only thing stopping me is time.
