hey, i just got a 94 celica gt, i don't really know much about this car other than the basics. I had a 93 mx-3 with 17's, lowered, nice system but that 4cyl. 1.6L with
88 hp was just not working for me so i sold it and i'm starting over. I had the mx-3 lowered on suspension tech. springs the ride was great but i was not happy with the lowering. i got about a 1" drop left side and .75 " on the other side. I'm open to any suggestions on what to use with this divine car, should i use coil-overs for a even drop? thanx guys |

any good springs will give you a nice even drop. I have sportlines along with a bunch of others here.. the sportlines only run around $200, and a nice set of kyb gr2's will run another $200..

sprints are great.. i canyon race with them all day long i love em. and wheel gap is ugly so get rid of it. if yoru just goin for looks go with whatever. but for performance sprints are tight. i just need better wheels.

I have my car lowered on Tein S-techs. It drops your car perfectly even front and back. I'm happy and satisfied with the drop, it's not too aggressive, yet it gets rid of the hideous fender gap. Also, rides just like stock. It's not all bumpy and harsh, but rather a smooth and stock feel.

Best price I found was TireRack (check my site linked in my sig).
Lower springs are about 200, but you'll want to replace the struts too. Installation costs too. If you do it yourself you'll need tools (esp. torque wrench, spring compressor), grease, etc. -------------------- |

i think i'll go with either teins which can be found for 150 shipped or Tanabe's that can be found for less than 200 both are great and cheaper than eibachs.

i have a friend who said he can do it... and i'm assuming that means he has the tools... I know he lowered his MR2... so i'm looking at 150 - 200 for springs... then 200?? for kyb gr2's??? other brand cheaper but still good? -------------------- ~Daniel~ No Longer Celica Owner.. moved on to a 03 WRX-EJ207
