if you mess up will paint thinner take it off easily?


will it mess up the stock look?

first off, no... paint thinner will more or less, screw them up more.. i havnt tried it on mine, but my buddie did on his front turns on his del sol, so will alchol .. so unless you think you can do a really good job, or have an extra set, i wouldnt bother.

well im just gonna paint the amber part of the usdm HB tails red and clear coat it which should be easy

and yes i will have an extra set to try it on

de-greaser will take off the paint. I don't see why thinner would hurt them though...

Thinner wont hurt it. I used finger nail polish remover to get the tint off of my tails when I had to redo them, just wash it good after you get the paint off.

i painted mine red, and if you take your time it shouldn't be that hard. paintthinner shouldn't hurt it if you use a rag and not just pour it on, but don't use lacquer thinner.

i painted my tail lights with "NITE SHADES" and i f-ed up my first try on them and paint thinner took it right off.
