QUOTE (mr_dude @ Apr 4, 2004 - 9:39 PM)
D100, nice.  Musta been able to simulate some fast film, at f16 it'd have to be a long exposure with a conventional... anyone have any shots on infrared film?  That could look good.

Had my ISO set to 1600, so yeah. wink.gif

Also, it's not too hard to simulate IR film with the D100 and p-shop. I've been playing around with that myself. Here's one IR experiment that I did...

Yeah, but simulating it in photoshop is just faking it, there's no real IR spectrum in there. Now how can someone who can't afford a D100 afford a copy of Photoshop? rolleyes.gif

lol @ the D100 simulating your mom. It works on so many levels.

The Canon digitals do get better reviews but I wouldn't forsake Nikon... course, I wouldn't forsake a film Nikon either because I love the curve of conventional film.

both nikons and the canons are great cameras. i have the ability to handle both of them on a daily basis, and ive found that nikons have better focusing in their lenses... but the digital rebel is a couple hundred under the d70, and for the money its a great camera....
