Hey guys, i wrecked my 6gc a few weeks back, now im in the market for a car, but since im broke now, i need something cheap. There is a red 5gc ST for sale close by me for aroubd 2K, i was wondering what engine it has? Is the engine as powerful as a 6gc? is this car fast? Also, i might ivest the extar money and get a 95 prelude. I have to make a decision, advice please...

Take out a loan and buy a GSR(Integra) or GS-T(Eclipse) you'll find the $$$ isnt all that bad, I were to buy a car again thats what I would have done.

The prelude might be a little more costly than what i was planning to buy, and if i get the 5gc at leas i will keep it in the celica family. After once owning a 4th gen, ifell in love with the celica, but what after doing some research, i wonder why TOYOTA chose to decrease the power in the 5th and 6th gen celicas??

Iwas actually asking the same question a week ago and no they dont touch Toyota/Honda in quality. BUT if you find a well kept one Ive been told that they are decent cars and you can't beat the prices! I was looking at a GSX though, they run around 6-12k.
