Sportline's are a good spring with a 1.5" drop. I have them and love them. when you mean that they ride like crap what do you mean? I would go with a 40 series tire onthe 18" but your going to have a ruffer ride on 18" than 17" because of the larger size and the smaller tires that you have to put on them.

I don't know any thing about springs but tires khumo makes a awsome tire and for the money one of the best. The tire rack is a good place to start.

www.tirerack.com They're pretty good with shipment, and the customer service is pretty good, haven't dealt with them personally, but from what others have posted it's been nothing but good remarks. Whatever you do, stay away from the ebay stuff. Most cases you won't be too happy with the ride. Eibach, Tein, Intrax, or H&R's would be the ones that I'd choose from. As far as Sportlines vs. Prokits, Like I said it all depends on your preference. If you go with Sports. (1.5" drop), but keep in mind that it'll settle a little bit more. Go with sportlines. I've had them for almost two years and they have never let me down. They have definately settled to about 1.7", but it is enough to get rid of the gap without constantly getting scrapes. I have better pics than the one in my profile if you need them for reference, but keep in mind I have 17's on a 40 series tire.

if ya havnt already got them, go to.. Lightingmotorsports... When i got mine there were like 200 even, with free shipping.. somthing like that, then i got my struts from tirerack, kyb's for 200 shipped.... I have my own question .. well to any one with Sportlines, It kinda seems like my rear almost sits lower then the front, I mean the def killed a ood amount of wheel gap. But when i stand next to the car, the rears look like the almost tuck, but the fronts still have room?? whats with thta, an thats with no wight in the rear, not even subs... |

it all depends on what your going for, when you do anything theres always more involved... First off, if you say a statment like that, you might wanna, explain what you are think of. Cause you could replace all the bushings stopers, everything to anything... all you really need is springs and shocks, not to much, and depending other parts you might need to replace.... sorry, not trying to come off as an ass, or rude, some how i always do, im just saying, please explain what you are concidering as in more This post has been edited by Digndoug: Apr 9, 2004 - 4:24 PM |
