Where are you fitting problems? Was everything tighten for the photo. I saw the gap on the front spoiler, but wasn't sure if it was bolted down. Overall your car looks really good. What color are you going to paint it?

im praying it gets done by june. if not painted, it will at least be put together. Im only waiting on my sides to come in from ViS.

i took it all apart and started again on fitting it. i got a lil closer to the front bumper then it is in the pics. the inner wheelwell is what im getting mad at, i might just pull it for good.
everything is bolted down in the pics. right now there is a 1/2"-1/4" gap between the fenders and the front bumper.
im gonna get it all bolted on and get it on a trailor and take it somewhere to get it fitted.

When/IF its finished, its gonna be a candy red with gold pearl.

Was it hard to fit those 5th gen mirrors. If your car gets finished I think it will look good. I like the sound of the paint job.

Lookin good man! you dont have too much of a fitment issue.. I would take the tire well out though.. It will make that alot easier to do.. also you might wanna mess around with where your mounting holes are on the front of the fender.. you can do alot of moving around there.. also there are two little weldin in screws on the front corner.. make sure there sitting right.. I had mine off an it caused me a buncha problems, dont get frustrated man.. it takes time to get things right sometimes.. hell Ive been working on mine for 2 years plus now wink.gif

edit: also on your invader front make sure you have that bottom section of your kit under the bottom of the lowwer support beam.. that can hang up there and cause problems.. you might need to remove all of your under cover pieces if you havent already done so.. also you have a FMIC correct? if so maybe try triming some of the section that comes into on the big center section where the IC is.. if its touching then it might make it so where the bottom of the front wont come back far enuf - hope you understood that - LOL

I WISH I HAD A FMIC!!
lol
i don't have one though.

The holes on the fender, r u talking about the place where it bolts to the top? Thats really the only spot that i have to deal with now. the hood won't close, so if i round out the holes, u think it would line up better?

i did trim off some of the invader. the piece u were talking about that tucks under the support, i cut it off. if u can see in the pic, its flush along the back. I tried to tuck it under, but since im putting mesh in, i wanted it to look a lil better.

I was talkin about the mounting point kind of infront and below the low beam headlight.. there are two small weldin in bolts pointing up and the fender should hook onto them... your hood not closing is also a problem.. you might wanna address that 1st.

Thats odd that your Z3 have bad fitment. Mine fit fine, except for my hood being warped. . i had to push down on it to get it close, The only other problem area was the inside fender bolt behind the wheel did not line up, but with a little push it was good enough to get the bolt through. After i finish with molding of the combat kit i'll get the pic's up of the complete install.

i got that, i took the bracket off and slipped it over the studs on the fender, carefully pulled it back and bolted it down.

all i have to do is bolt under the door, and its all bolted down.

mine is kinda weird on fitting, the gap between the fender and the door is off, its bigger up at the top and smaller at teh bottom plus i think the fender needs to come out a lil more at the top by the door too
