"And a GS can take an ST as well. An RS might be good competition for you."

The gs and the rs both have the same engine on 95+ eclipse. You will be able to beat a non turbo eclipse with your celica if it had the 5sfe. with the 7afe you might start side by side. I race a RS for kicks a friend of my cusins. I was driving my ae92 corolla GT-S rated at 115 hp at 6600 rpm could rev to 8000 rpm and 105 ft/lb of tq at 6000 rpm regardless I was able beat him in the launch then he went in front of me about 1 car length then i started cacthing up again. This was up hill. my gt-s wiegths about the 20lb less then a 6th gen st celica. BUt with the 5sfe im sure you cad hand it to him. Besides he let me drive the thing and its not that fast. My gt-s spun more tire than that thing on 1st gear dropping the cluth. any ways if its a RS or GS and you got the GT you more likely than not have a chance if its the GS-T or GS-X then hope you got the all trac celica.

If you scrolled down a couple more posts, you would have noticed that I already agreed that the GS and RS are equivalent in terms of their motors.

ks, you can stay with a Cadillac CTS? I find that hard to believe, 255HP 3.6L V6 will own your 105HP 1.8L 4cyl very easily. Your dad must drive slow too 3.3-liter DOHC 24-valve VVT-i V6 225 hp @ 5,600 rpm 240 lb.-ft. @ 3,600 rpm would kill the Celi easily too. What's your point about coming on here and talking garbage when half the stuff you say is lies?

Grow up kid, your car ain't fast, it will never be fast, even my car isn't fast, not without an engine swap or a Turbo. Stop making up stories trying to get points with people know how Celica's really drive.

And even with the more common swap (2nd gen 3s) or the turbo route, our cars will still be only moderately fast as compared to many newer cars and most fast older cars (Ie Supra, 300AZTT, and even the low budget king of kings, the 240SX with the SR swap)

Get over it. i was owned on the interstate the other day by an old OLD maxima. I was alone in my car and the two guys in the maxima flew past... and slowed down to laugh.

be happy that your car looks good, but it is not fast. It will however outhandle most cars you will find on the road. wink.gif I've never ridden in a car that would out-handle mine, and I have been in many a car.

Im just read over the crap spewin out of your mouth previously. Seriously why dont you packup your 91 whp ST and get the hell out of here. You have the worst damn attitude out of anyone I've ever seen on here. Phat Boi is pretty cool and his "sell-out" Del-Sol will show how it feels to get a prostate exam. Your not cool cause you "think" you beat a GS, RS whatever the hell it was I dont care. We can all read a BullSh!t meter pretty well when it comes to racing other cars. Stop being a typical teenager and show some class for christ sakes.
