custom makers list Options

I have an idea but it may have been done already at one time or another. Well what I am suggesting is that there be a compiled list of all the members that produce custom products for our cars. This would be a means for all the members to know who makes what and what the quality is. I am not talking about comercial makers but members like Fallenhero and DG performance to name a few.

This is an interesting idea, and though I'm not a huge fan of it, I'm curious as to what others think.

I think that word of mouth goes around the forums pretty well for these people.

I know word of mouth gets around but new peole who have not had the chance to learn who makes what could use this as a tool. I would also serve a quick reference list for everyone.

i think its a great idea.

it also provides people like qatar, fallen, dg with more word of mouth advertising.

i personally have spoke with dg about customization of the celica and he is a great person to deal with from what i've heard and expierenced

edit: on top of that not everyone has the time to sift through this vast amount of information. to the regular users dg and everyone is obvious information but what about the people who dont come here regularly

OK here is my first list, of customized product! I think we should have a scoop come up in the passenger side dash above the glove box, that will hold a 7" lcd screan! it will almost be like a scoop kinda effect. I have seen this done in a SUV and i must admit i was very impressed!

Just an idea. please no hateing like i said just an idea!

I think its a great idea too. since the aftermarket options we have is limited this is a must.

I think its a great idea for new people and those that can't get on everyday have a chance to keep up with stuff better. It would be great to have a list of makers and the products they make preferably with pictures. This could possibly be a good sub-section in the parts database. Another good feature might be to have a list of buyers that wouldn't mind being contacted for a person to get another opinion on how well the part works.

i think its a great idea.. cause i know there are a lot of people on this site that do custom work... everthing from intakes to subboxes.. i would be great to have a page were you list those people and what they do.
