I was wondering the same thing. It looks like it might work well if you car is just lightly dirty, like has pollen or dust on it. I highly doubt that it'll take off bugs and other nasty stuff.

Agreed....when I can't get to the self serve car wash (or don't have the time), this is the perfect quick wash.

you know you could get the same results for less.

The only thing mr clean does is filter the water to remove impurities. So buy a filter, the rest of the mr clean gun is for shooting soap and such. so all you need is a filter on the end of your hose.

its not like 20 dollars is that much for the whole system, id rather pay 20 dollars once then bust out the bucket and rags all the time

my recommendation to those who buy this:

buy filters and soap with it too... it really does only last 3 washes.

oh, and what exactly is the third cycle purpose? does anyone know this? i understand soap and rinse, but the mist????

The mist one is the spot free setting that sprays the deionized water

the low pressure mist at the end is what makes it spot free.

actually, i believe it's a combination of the filter AND mist.

i don't neccessarily like it that much. but, for a quick fix..it's pretty cool.

Why not just buy a shammy and spend 5 minutes drying off your car?

The children of today would rather spend $17 on a product, than to work 5 more mintues each time they wash their car. rolleyes.gif

That's all you need. Costs about the same, but lasts for a couple years...or more if you take care of it. When I'm at the car was, I just whip that out, and get my car dry in about 2 minutes, while the guy that got out of the stall before me is still only halfway done drying.

The best way to sell a product in america is to make americans lazier, if u notice many new products do just that, like this auto wash, and like that new vacuum that runs on its own
