So i bought a new one and decided to attack it and install it myself...job was complete in 2 hours (first time ever changing a radiator) and its not that hard lol just thought id share.

haha... that reminds me... when i took my car over to the guys house who was helping me with the motorswap... i pulled the car in and he says "ok..... well i gotta go in and do a few things... why don't you start by removing the radiator"..... he walked off and i'm sitting there staring at it..... luckily i just decided to pull the bottom hose (didn't realize there was a drain plug) and pull the rad out... and started pulling anything else i knew how to (or could figure out)
all in all, i ended up doing like 75% of the actual work on my motorswap... it taught me a lot, mainly that it's much simpler than i expected |

It's a step in the right direction. Oil was my first DIY thing, then plugs/wires, brakes... The only thing I've yet to do myself is open the engine. I'm ready to, just haven't had a reason yet. |

I know the feeling, my uncle was a GM mechanic(retired), and one of my friends is a body man for Ford. All that knowledge gone to waste because I didn't like the Hyundai and wasn't interested. I like working on the Celica, so I've learned a lot more. |
