Well, i have a friend thats doing seats for $200.
i was wanting to get mine in black vinyal with red or orange stitching. he said he could do it, but it prolly won't show up too well. my other option is black vinyal seats with red or orange piping. he can do that, but for a lil more then $200 for the pair. my car color is gonna be the stock red with gold pearl, so its gonna have a slight orange tint. So, red or orange piping?? He said he can also get the colors in different shades. should i wait till the car is painted and go off that, or go ahead and get them done now while i have the money? -------------------- Jared Harwell

i would wait till you got your car painted that way you have a better understanding of the what the color will look like before you get your seats. just my opinion though...

No piping!! Looks cheep in my opinion! And if your gonna re-do your interior, go for the whole thing man, don't just get the front seats! Think about how it would look with just front seats different.........Not to good. I would go for the whole interior.

i don't have a backseat.
the only thing that needs finished is the front seats. already changed everything(doors, carpet, headliner) to black. just need to get something done with the front seats. -------------------- Jared Harwell

If your getting your car painted, do all your big install projects BEFORE you paint!! I'm installing a re-upolster kit that I bougt from JC Wittney, thank GOD it install them before I painted because I put a huge scratch in my car when I was putting the fornt seats back in! I would pick the color for your car and seats, install the seats, and then pain! Just some advice.

I'd wait until you have your car painted and as far as piping goes I like it ok. I think it would look better than the stitching, just my $.02.
BTW what did you do w/ ur back seat. Custom fiberglass in its place or just leave it bare? |
