Well, i noticed some tiny oil drops under my car a while back. So just yesterday after work I put my car on a car lift i have access to and noticed a pretty decent ammount of oil that had found its way out of the engine....i couldnt totally be sure of where it was comming from, but it looked most heavily concentrated around the bottom of the intake manifold. I was looking up at the engine from underneath as best i could and thats about where it looked like it might be originating from.

So im pretty sure that its been leaking for a while, but pretty slowly. I just wanted to ask you guys if anyone has experienced a leak from their head gasket, and if so did you experience this kind of leak problem?? Any other suggestions as to what the problem is?? frown.gif I might just take my car to the auto shop some time this week to avoid any problems...

i have/do... Just recently my head gasket cracked- same kind of leak... its very slow (half a quart of oil in 2,000 mi.), but I can feel highly diminished power now... expensive to fix as well, my local dealer quoted me $1,271, and thats reasonable beacsue of all the labor time. its a worst case senario when it comes to oil leaks...
