I am having problems with my '95 GT starting. Back in January, I had the oxygen sensor replaced because when it was below 15 degrees, I could spend up to fifteen minutes trying to start the car. It would start, then immediately stop, and in order for it to keep running, you had to put your foot on the gas for about 30 seconds, and it would idle irradically sometimes. Now that its warm out, its starting to do it over 80 degrees, and the mechanic said by replacing the sensor this problem shouldn't exist.
I also have a strange rattle that sounds like you have one of those figurines on a spring and its bouncing back and forth on the dash. I had my belts and hoses tightened or replaced in January, but... Any suggestions on what could be going wrong? Anne |

my car seems to be having a similar problem. when its warm out it has trouble starting. basicly as soon as you start the car, the RPMs fall to 500 or less and the car wants to stall. if i give it some gas for a few seconds then it goes back to normal and has no idle problems.
let me know what you figure out. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
