Ive read a good amount about celica engines and was wondering if these things are all the same: MAF sensor, Map sensor, AFM, O2 sensor. Just curious as to what those do and where they are located or if anybody had a pic they could post to point it out. Thanks much

MAF is Mass Air Flow, like Air Flow Meter on 3sgte, goes on the intake.
o2 sensor is in your exhaust path and reads oxygen in your exhaust. MAP has to do with pressure. Mass Air Pressure maybe? Not really sure. But no they are 3 different things. -------------------- |

yes, map = mass air pressure, there are basically 2 ways to meter how much oxygen is present in the air for the engine (needed for fuel mapping etc), really there are a few more I think but these are the two most common. MAP sensoring is better in some ways, while AFM has its advantages in some others, i cant recall which has which. If you look it up you'll find a whole buttload of info on it.
