I was checking out nix99 a few days ago and saw they had a 96 GT come in and viewing the pictures it had stock side skirts, however it was badly damaged on the left front, gave them a call and they said the skirts were in good condiiton and they'd sell them for $100 with the screws. Picked them up yesterday and they're in great condition, however they're cherry red, and my car is white, will have to get them painted and installed. Thought I got a pretty good deal.

One question, Toyota used white plastic push fasteners along one side, and metal screws underneath because they probably had factory holes to engage, where as my 94 ST doesn't, do you just remove these plastic fasteners and use 2 sided tape, and then the metal screws? I'm sure the bodyshop will know what to do, but any help would be appreciated.

well i just picked up some of these skirts from the junk yard for 20 bux and im putting them on my car what i did was cut out the middle inside parts all of it, then i screwed up the part that is by the front wheel(middle screw) and tape up the back end for now , it should be in place now get a power drill and drill in 6( i used 6) screws and place them about 4 inches apart. starting from the front weel to the rear wheel it should now be in place, take it off and get it painted and when u put it back on use double sided tape, hope this helped but if u bring it to a body shop (i happen to work at one) they will drill holes so those plactic screws can fit that good and all but if u decide to take them off you will have holes and have to get it bondo up and painted
