Got mine they look great, gonna get mine made tommorow. Just a tip to everyone don't go to someplace cheap to get them done like walmart or homedepot they will mess them up. I've gotten 4 keys made there before and only one has actually worked, but has a trick to it.

Got mine 2 days ago. It's beautiful. What sux is I got it made and it wont work. The pattern looks EXACTLY like my key that works, but it wont turn it at all. The only thing I can figure out is that it looks slightly thicker than my stock key, so I'm taking it to a locksmith soon to see if it can be fixed.

Took mine to the toyota dealership. Its free there. They were all loving the key. It looks amazing. Its just a little longer than normal keys, but works like a charm

Has ne1 not received their key? All keys have been shipped, one has been returned to sender (me). I think it was klr_toys) but I'm just checking in general.

Hey subsolo also try this, put your key in, and pull it back out just a little tiny bit like an 1/8 of an inch and try turning it then. One of my other keys I have to do that with, also try cleaning off the burs if there are any.

Well the key I had made at toyota had zero burrs on it, and the ones I had made at walmart and home depot had tons. Your right though about the machine probably, it has more to do with the person cutting them. One key I had made at home depot the guy took out to early and only one side was done. He put it back in and totaly screwed the key.

Yea and I'm gonna use the other key and steal your house.
I have to do something to make this whole key thing worthwhile since mine still wont work. I even took it to another place and I also worked on it myself some. I just dont get it. |
