i get this rattling sound (like when u roll your tongue, seriously exactly like that)....but only when i let go of the gas pedal quickly. it starts right when i close the throttle, and lasts about 1 second. i thought it was the intake or intercooler pipes rattling whenever air gets stuck BUT thats what the bov is for, and its still working. AND i secured the intake so that it doesnt move and checked the pipes, i still cant find the source of the rattling.
TO TOP IT OFF everytime i accelerate faster than normal with boost gauge going to 5 psi, when i stop, i get this HUGE cloud of white smoke coming out of the exhaust. it clouds up around every car around me. ALSO, if im accelerating quickly for more than one shift, i see white smoke come from the sides of my hood as well as the exhaust!!! Im pretty sure its coming from the turbo burning oil cuz the exhaust runs directly off of that, but how do i fix it?? There's plenty of 10w-30 in there (its near the top of the indicator) might it have anything to do with the pcv valve? i plugged the hole on the throttle body side and rerouted the other side to a 20oz plastic coke bottle, is that how its supposed to be done? the bottle is now squeezed inward? as of right now i put that hose part back to stock so that it connects the throttle side to the engine side. I'm scared of driving bc if its damaged i dont want to worsen it. also im still getting high knocking indicated on my safc2. it starts off at 0 during cold start, then gets to 30 and stays there. heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp! The sound sounds like your BOV is to loose or tight. Shuttering.

I would say it sounds like your blowing your rings, i dont know a ton about turbos, but i know enough that most stock engines dont run great, or even good for long with them. but then again, white smoke out of your exhaust norm means blown head gasket, .... I would take off the head, and replace it, i would guess a kit would be around 50-100 bucks..

Are you losing any coolant? could be a head gasket leaking under the extra pressure from boost, does the smoke smell like oil or anti-freeze? |

sounds like a blown turbo oil seal. The same exact thing is happening to me right now. Only when you're on the turbo hard, or boost fast, etc. If you keep it in vac it's fine. Time to rebuild the turbo, perhaps. - aba |
