going up a back road, slid on some sand.... started to oversteer, tried correcting it, slid the other way, hit an embankment... airbags went off which smash the windshield... damage to the front drivers side... looks like some frame damage, hopefully not, kinda hard to tell in the dark... drove back home, drives straight so hopefully no frame damage... only liability on the car, so i wont get any money from insurance... hopefully i can get it fixed... its 124 right now, and im home, but nobody knows i got into an accident. my parents done live in the house, but tonight is the ONE night my dads home, so im gonna have to wake up to him bitching... ****ty night.... but what can you do about it...

damn man, sorry to hear about that. hopefully it won't be damaged too bad cause our cars are pretty tough. same thing happened to me but I hit the embankment backwards so all it did was mess up the suspension a bit. hope everything works out.

im planning on running it without airbags.... too expensive, and as far as im concerned, i hate them.... i got into an accident and they did more damage than good.... they smashed my fugging windshield.... seatbelts = good.... airbags = bad....

and im in a good mood... i dont really freak or stress out about stuff, so i was just like ehhh... looking at it in the day, it looks 100% fixable easy.... new fenders and bumper, and windshield... the thing that really sucks is i have about $700 that was in my kit/rims fund, which is gonna drop down to 0.....

Hey man sorry to here about your car, happens to the best of us! Ya it sucks air bugs can come on like that but in a highspeed headon colission you'll be thankful they are there wink.gif But ya if I were in the same position Id probably do that same and not get new bags.

Get everything from a junkyard, check out car-part.com, they always have sweet deals, I get all my parts off there and they are always in pretty good condition.
