Hope one of you can help me with this.

I've got a set of spare tail lights, and i'm going to be looking at doing some kind of custom lights, based around the s2000 primarily. I'm not sure yet wether to run with the one running/brake next to the clear reverse as per the standard s2000 lights, or whether to try for a skyline style, with two red running/brake next to each other, and then put in reverse light somewhere else.

The question is, as the uk spec celica is set up to have one running/brake light, with the other section used as fog lights.. can i split the wire running to the brake lights, to create two sets on each side, or is this going to half the current and make the lights half as bright?? If it does is there an easy way round this, that won't involved running a new cable from the front?

I think this makes sense when read. If not post a question and i'll clarify. When it's done, if it looks ok i'll post up some pics and how to if anyone is interested. It looks to be quite simple ( rolleyes.gif ) but i'll pass on anything i learnt while doing it.

Cheers guys

First of all I do not know the s2000 lights/wiring setup.
However, splicing into the wire and running 2 sets should be ok.
I believe the lights run off the alternator - with the headlights on at ideal, rev the car and notice how they brighten up.
